DJ Profile

With over 16 years of experience under his belt, dj bandoma began his career on the turntables at the young age of 13.  Born and raised in San Diego, CA bandoma started spinning with Playtime Attractions and the Orchestra Turntable Ensemble.  Formerly known as DJ Massacre, bandoma perfected his turntablist skills as a battle dj in Southern CA.  After 3 years of djing, bandoma won first place at San Diego’s Import Showoff DJ Competition in 1996.  Although his battle stint was short-lived, bandoma continued to perfect his skills as a turntablist / party-rocking DJ.

In 1998, bandoma moved to Orange County with his good friend and dj partner, kidragon.  While his friend continued to battle, bandoma started rocking the OC college party scene.  He expanded his music base by spinning Top 40, hip-hop, house and 80’s. At that time, bandoma became a resident dj for Summer Winter Action Tours (SWAT). He rocked multiple winter and spring break college trips and spun for up to 2,000 party-goers each night. This enabled bandoma to become the versatile DJ that he is today.   Not only can he rock the crowd with the skills of a true turntablist, bandoma has the ability and experience to accurately read the dance floor, the key to keeping the party moving.

Currently, dj bandoma continues to rock parties at various clubs throughout Southern CA.  He is the resident dj of Sharkeez Newport Beach and has a bi-weekly residency at Sutra Lounge, the best nightclub in Orange County.  At Sutra, dj bandoma has shared the stage with Snoop Dogg, Too $hort, Xzibit, Lil Jon, Cypress Hill, Warren G, Ray Jay and Aubrey from Danity Kane.  He’s also had the pleasure of opening up for DJ AM, Steve Aoki, DJ Vice and Joel Madden from Good Charlotte. 

After 16 years on the turntables, dj bandoma has been fortunate to play in cities such as Las Vegas, Hollywood, San Francisco, Lake Tahoe, Phoenix, San Diego and all across Orange County.  He has also spun internationally in Manila, Philippines, Cabo San Lucas, San Felipe and Rosarito Beach, Mexico.
