DJ Kevin Scott is one of the most recognized touring djs in the United States. He's spun in over a hundred venues from California to Miami and all spots in between over the last 3+ years. He currently holds down 8 residencies at prestigious venues across the US & Canada, and with 20+ years of dj’ing under his belt, Kevin Scott brings experience to the turntables which is virtually unmatched. His ultra clean mixing and smooth blends, along with his original edits & remixes, set him apart from other dj’s in the party rocking genre.
Before setting off to travel every week, Kevin Scott was hand selected by the late DJ AM to be LAX Hollywood’s original resident DJ handling the weekends for the first year and a half it was open. During that time he spun for dozens of celebrities including Prince, Jamie Foxx, Nicole Richie, Paris Hilton, Dr. Dre, Mary J. Blige, Jessica Alba and others. Kevin has performed with music industry heavyweights including Busta Rhymes, Common, LMFAO, Mark Ronson and Bizmarkie and has dj'ed many red carpet events including the X-Box 360 Launch party, Activision's DJ Hero Launch Party, Carmelo Anthony's Nike Air Jordan party, a private party for Interscope Records music mogul Jimmy Iovine as well as dj'ing several parties in Vancouver for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.
Besides dj’ing, Kevin Scott is also well respected in the DJ world for his production talents. Before the days of digital dj’ing and serato, Kevin Scott built an empire with his DMS (Direct Music Service) vinyl record compilations that reached DJ’s across the globe. His current project includes work for the major motion picture Iron Man 2 as DJ & Music Consultant. Kevin is working closely with Director Jon Favreau on music for a key scene in the film, as well as being asked to remix a score in the movie. |
