Jimi Chestnutt/ Dj Razz, JimiRazz
Being interested in music all his life Jimi attended Harris Institute shortly after completing his degree at Ryerson University. At Harris he completed his Recording Arts Management diploma and got into the music industry with an internship at Warner Music. Looking for more full time work Jimi worked with Frischkorn Audio Visual running the conference centre at the Weston Hotel located near the airport. He took valuable client related experiences from this position as well as dealing with the production of large shows and corporate parties.
Jimi then decided to pursue his disc jockeying career with an offer to become resident dj at the legendary Longhorn Saloon in Whistler BC. The Longhorn Saloon has been rated the number one après bars in Whistler for the past 25 years, and for the past two winters Dj Razz has been spinning up to 6 days a week, 6 hours a day. Working large parties such as College Week, Funky Après Sunday’s, Memorial Day and Telus World Ski and Snowboard Festival.
Now back in Ontario he is offering his skills and services to those in need of the most essential part of the party, the music. Equipped with vast arsenal of music, two turntables, and a microphone, the dance floor at any event is sure to be rocking.
